v Thank you to all of the parents who helped their students complete their research paper. Students will get them back graded after Spring Break.
v The Big Shanty Spring Carnival is fast approaching. We still need volunteers to bring in soda and cake. Please let Mrs. Swancy or I know ASAP!!!
v Due to the really short month because of Spring Break and CRCT testing, there will be no book report for the month of April. However, students are still expected to read nightly and write it down in their reading logs!
Just a Reminder:
v I have created several tests online for the practice CRCT that your student can be doing at home. Your student knows where to go, what to look for, and what to do. Please be practicing these tests with your children. Your child will have their GA test ID and the password to logon to: www.georgiaoas.org to access the practice tests at home.
v Please send in two stamps so that I can mail them home. J Parents who don’t send in stamps will be able to pick their child’s report card up at the front office after school is over.
v Fill out your Reading Log every night!
v Do all of your homework at home so that you don’t get stuck doing it at lunch, for recess, or having double homework the next night!
Reading
Make it your goal to COMPLETE your reading log this month! It is so short, and that makes it super easy. I want to see every student get a free pizza for the month of April!
Math Hint for the Week:
Take an online practice test every night. If you just do one a night, you will be preparing yourself for the CRCT more than you know!
