Class News
v Report Cards are being sent home today in Thursday Folders. Please review this with your child. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me. Please remember to sign and return the signature card and envelope.
v The school year is coming to a close! I can’t believe it!!! The next time you see your child’s report card, it will be mailed to you. Please send in two stamps so that I can mail them home. J Parents who don’t send in stamps will be able to pick their child’s report card up at the front office after school is over.
v The rough draft of the research paper is due TOMORROW! Please make sure that your child turns something in tomorrow! They should know what to do – they already have all of the information on their note cards.
v The Big Shanty Spring Carnival is fast approaching. In today’s Thursday Folder, you will find a letter from our room mom, Mrs. Swancy. Please read it carefully as it has a lot of information you need to know. Please help her out in any way you can. Thank you so much!
v Due to the research paper, there won’t be no book report for the month of March. However, students are still expected to read nightly and write it down in their reading logs!
Just a Reminder:
v I have created several tests online for the practice CRCT that your student can be doing at home. Your student knows where to go, what to look for, and what to do. Please be practicing these tests with your children. Your child will have their GA test ID and the password to logon to: www.georgiaoas.org to access the practice tests at home.
v Fill out your Reading Log every night!
v Do all of your homework at home so that you don’t get stuck doing it at lunch, for recess, or having double homework the next night!
v Jabril is going to be showing off his dance moves on March 20th. Come out and support him at the talent show! Salinah will be displaying some of her artwork!

Get those AR points up! Read books that are on your level (ask Miss V. if you aren’t sure) and take those tests!!!!
Health Hint for the Week:
Please cut out and bring in pictures of all kinds of foods for a project we will be doing tomorrow!
