Class News
v Our Valentine’s Day Party will be Friday, February 13th. Please send your child to school with a valentine for each student in the class. A complete class list was sent home with last Thursday’s newsletter. If you need another one, please let me know.
v This week, our class went to the computer lab and logged on to the practice CRCT. Your student knows where to go, what to look for, and what to do. Please be practicing these tests with your children. Your child will have their GA test ID and the password to logon to: www.georgiaoas.org to access the practice tests at home.
v Please continue working at home with your child on your Science Solar System Project. Every student needs to complete a project. The yellow sheet will tell you how they will be graded. Please feel free to assist your child on this project, but let them do most of it themselves. You may use anything you like to build your model of the solar system. This presentation is due February 18th. Be creative!
v A huge THANK YOU!!! to all of the parents who are still sending in notebook paper. We are trying to conserve as much as possible!
v We are participating in the Six Flags Reading Club. Each participant will receive a free ticket to Six Flags for reading six hours and keeping a Reading Log. Students must log 6 hours with parent’s initials by tomorrow!
v Thanks to Rily, Lyndon, Katie, Alex, Shannon, Shaun, and Eric for coming out to Baskin Robbins last Monday for scoop night! It was a blast!
Just a Reminder:
