I wanted to thank each of you for making my birthday so special!  I wanted to especially thank Mr. and Mrs. Martin for personally donating and delivering the best pizza around!  Also, thank you to Mrs. Knight for the cookie cake and helping out in the classroom.  Everything was wonderful and such a surprise!  Lastly, thank you for all of the thoughtful gifts.  I truly treasure them.

Testing is finally over, and we are super proud of how hard our students worked!  Parents, thanks for all of your support at home!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We will take a few minutes on Friday for the class to pass out Valentine's Day cards within our homeroom.  Please remember to provide your child with a bag, box, or container to hold his/her Valentines. We will have extras if you forget.  Also, don't forget to use the class list we sent home so that everyone is remembered. 

 

Reminder

We will be visiting the Cobb County Youth Museum February 2, 2009 at 11:00.  Please send in your child's permission form as soon as possible.  Thank you!

Conference Week

As you may already know, Conference Week will be January 26-30.  Please remember that school dismissal will be 2 hours early each day that week. 

We are looking forward to meeting with each of you and discussing your child's progress.  Report cards will also be distributed.

Our Caring Classroom

As your child may have mentioned, last week was Red Ribbon Week.  Our entire class signed their name, pledging to be Drug Free.  We also spent some time preparing for the door decorating contest.  After using the theme, "Drugs Just Don't Add Up," we won 1st place for the 4th grade.  Our class also collected 131 canned goods.  We are so proud of our caring classroom!
