Meet Miss Milton......

                                                    

Hello Everyone,

My name is Glenda T. Milton and I'm extremely excited about my third year of co-teaching here at Big Shanty.  I thoroughly enjoy co-teaching with Ms. Leslie Phillips in the fourth grade classroom. She is a wonderful teacher and we are a TEAM. I previously taught in a K-5 interrelated, self-contained classroom before coming here last year. My first ten years of teaching took place in a small town in Bulloch County.  While teaching there I earned my Master's degree in Interrelated Special Education and my Education Specialist degree in Curriculum, Instructional Management, and Administration.  I strongly feel that a huge part of my purpose is to work and share with students. My ultimate goal as a teacher has always been to help each of my students master their individual goals and become life-long learners. Daily, I strive to deal in patience and handle each child with care.
