Everybody Needs a Rock
We have begun our study of rocks this week. Encourage your child to look around. Rocks and minerals are everywhere. Help your child choose a "pet rock" to bring to school. We will discover what type of rock each pet rock is through research and lab activities. Our class will create a rock museum, which will include our classroom collection of rocks as well as each student's pet rock.
