Hi Parents, Students, and Guests!

Summer is here! What a wonderful year this has been and what a marvelous group of students. I am happy to have the break and rest, but I sure will miss my kids. I hope this year has been a rewarding year of academics and growth for your child. I certainly think that it has!
A few things to know for our upcoming last week of school:
***The students will be finishing their cereal box research report on Tuesday. They are researching a topic that they wanted to learn this year but we didn't get a chance to learn about in class. These will come home on Tuesday.
***Our final math extension project, The Stock Market, will conclude today with a test. Look for your student's stock portfolio to come home this afternoon. I have really enjoyed working with your math student!
***All library books/fines are now due. Please make sure your child finds that missing book so that we can clear his/her account!
***There won't be any charging of lunches this last week of school. Please make sure that there is enough money in your child's account. All charges must be cleared by Thursday!
**** If you have not already done so, please send in a paper grocery sack to hold all of your child's possessions to be brought home on Wednesday. NO backpacks or personal items should come to school on Thursday!
***We will be having a end of the year breakfast in our room Thursday morning. The room moms have contacted you on what they would like you to send. Please feel free to join us for a bit of breakfast to say goodbye to a wonderful school year.
*** Thank you to the parents in Mrs. Hill's class. I have everyone's stamps for the report card envelopes.
Yearbook signing/autograph books ( I"ve made them for the class) will be on Wednesday at 8:15.
We will have a Team 4B kickball tournament next week! We RULE!
I will post, on next week's blog, a bunch of GREAT websites for you to visit this summer! Keep up all those marvelous skills you have developed throughout the year!
Have a GREAT weekend!
Mindee Hill, M.Ed.
