We're coming into the home stretch and No Spring Fever is allowed in the Grotto.  We must keep our head in the game and learn all the rest of the information that is required of 4th grade.  Even after the CRCT, we will continue to learn new things and practice skill so that we are prepared for 5th grade.

One way to help your Gremlin is to check the online gradebook.  If you have already logged in, keep viewing!  If you need to establish an account, the webiste and login is in your child's agenda.  I generally update weekly. 

We will continue to read and write and learn about science, social studies and health through the last week of school.  Be prepared for a spelling test on the last day of class.

Wow!  It's testing time again.  In order to become familliar with the test, you may hve your Gremlin take this practice test. Confidence with the form of the test can only decrease test taking anxiety!

Author's night is nearly upon us!  The Gremlins have been so busy working on their science books.  I hope you will be able to come to our Book Reading on March 31st.  Please download this form,sign it and return it with your student by Tuesday, March, 24th if you are able to come.  To date, I have received a very few of these from the students.

The spelling list is here.  Download Spelling Week 30 The dictionary words are:  adaptation, camouflage, carnivore, omnivore, herbivore.

Please be sure to help your Gremlin have the homework due Friday:  spelling and reading log.  There are a few week-long assignments that are not homework that are due Friday as well:  Dictionary and occasional Mountain Language.  Students will walk lines during recess if these items are forgotten.

Also, please look for the Gremlin Giggles slip that is stapled to the Thursday agenda.  Your child needs your signature on this when it is returned on Friday.  This slip will help you to know how your child is doing in class.

Next week I do need some supplies for science:  coffee filters(8) and Kool-aid-non sweetened.

Keep the evening of Tuesday, March 31st free to attend the Big Shanty Author's night.  We will share from our new book Gremlin Science. 

School supplies are low and ragged.  Please check with your child to ensure he/she has pencils, paper and glue.  These are essential supplies.  My supply of pencils and paper is exhausted.

Report cards go home next Thursday!
