Anuran Research Project Resources

An evil spell has been cast upon us!  Each student has been turned in to a different genus and species of the anuran order.  Students will need to learn as much as possible about their species and create a presentation for our "Frog Museum" to reverse the spell. 

We have many resources in our classroom library, as well as the websites we used for "Fascinating Frog Research."  Additional websites are listed below.  It may be helpful to research your GENUS NAME (first part of the scientific name) to find what frog family you are part of.  As you know, all families have similar characteristics.

Above and Beyond ANURAN VOCABULARY Tips!

You have an exciting opportunity to go "ABOVE AND BEYOND!"  Use your Anuran vocabulary words and fascinating facts to create a learning activity.  Some ideas for learning activities are:  make an "A,B C book," crossword puzzle, memory game, "I have, who has?" or other activity that uses Anuran words.

You may also use technology to make a learning activity! The links below will require that you have access to MS Power Point program at home.  You can make a "Jeopardy" or "Millionaire" game by clicking on the link below.  Be sure to save your work on your flash drive and bring it in to share with your classmates.  Now, that is going "Above and Beyond!"
