Testing Is Over!

We have worked so hard to complete Iowa/Cogat testing!  I have really missed you all and can't wait to see you again!  Please don't try this at home!  Reaching for the stars by jumping is dangerous!  Instead "Go Above and Beyond" with your effort and make each assignments your personal best!

On Monday, September 29th we will be back on our normal Target class schedule.  Please remember the assignments that we know are due this week:

4th grade

• (all classes)  Complete your "Building Big" questions. Find a way to "GO ABOVE AND BEYOND"!
• (Thursday class only) Bring your "Company Bridge Project" resume'.  "GO ABOVE AND BEYOND"!
• (optional)  Check out my blog entry and participate in the "Westpoint Bridge Project." 

5th grade

• (all classes)  Complete your "Energy Explorers" research visual...detailed bulleted notes and source page.  "GO ABOVE AND BEYOND"!
• (all classes)  Begin writing your informational report.  Use flash drive so that you can edit.  We will have class time to work on the editing portion.  "GO ABOVE AND BEYOND"!   
• (all classes)  Journals need to have entries related to each of the 4 labs we completed. (1.  Sketching your robot and comparing/contrasting to the other chassis design, 2.Touch Sensor, 3. Finding a Line and 4. Following a Line.) 

5h Grade Energy Explorers Fact Finding Mission

We have begun our "Energy Explorers Project" and have created a concept map web of the different sources of energy.  This week in class, we will research and take bulleted notes on information to complete our report.  Part one "Product" will be due in class on Monday, 10/6 or Friday, 10/3, depending upon your Target day.  PLEASE USE YOUR YELLOW CHECKLIST TO STAY ON TRACK!
