Meet Mrs. Brown

 

Hello All!  I am Erika Brown and this is my second year as a teacher at Big Shanty, but my fourth year teaching Elementary music.

I grew up in Seguin, TX.   After graduating from Seguin High School I went to LSU where I earned my degree in Music Education with a concentration in instrumental music.  French Horn is my primary instrument, but I have also spent many years in various choirs and I am currently a memeber of the Cobb Symphony Orchestra Chorus.

My husband and I have two dogs; Fred and Oskar. 

Oskar is a wirehaired pointer and Fred is a cajun-mutt.

I love teaching music to young children and I am enjoying my time here in the Kennesaw area.
