Our class has been watching a pair of American Bald Eagles keep thier two eggs warm in preparation for the hatching. The cameras (they are even equipped with night vision) have been set up and are maintained by an organization called the Raptor Resource Project. Both adult eagles have been banded and are currently being watched for research. Their nest is located in Decorah, Iowa. The eggs should hatch around the beginning of our spring break. Our students have been asking me to put the link to their nest on the blog, so here it is.
